1. the carbon will differ according to wood species. Commonly, the carbon ratio of hardwood is higher than that of light wood under the same temperature carbonizing process.
2. Compared the low temperature carbonizing, the carbon ratio under high temperature is higher.
Take pine wood for example, when the carbonization temperature is at 380℃, carbon ratio at 75%, and 500℃, it can reach to 85%. If we improve the temperature reaches to 600℃-700℃, it even reaches to 90%.
So choosing one efficient reliable carbonizing furnace or carbonizing kiln is vital during the whole process.
