To get good quality coconut shells charcoal, here there are five steps we need to be clear.
Frist process: drying
Start the first, we need to make the temperature inside of the furnace go up to 100°C. As the at the beginning the furnace turns warm slowly, operators should use big fire to heat the furnace. And then adjust the fire to stay at 100 °C and use small fire to heat the furnace to 170°C-200°C .
Second process: Themolysis pyrogenation process
When the furnace temperature goes up to 170°C-200°C, use the slow fire to heat the furnace temperature to 340°C. It will take 2.5 hours in this process.
Third step: Rapid pyrolysis process
When it goes up to 340°C, operator just adjusts the fire slowly higher to 380°C-400°C. The third stage takes about 2 hours.
Forth step: the end of the carbonizing
When the temperature remains at 400°C for some time, use small fire to keep heating the furnace. Check the exhausted smoke and it becomes less, the operator can close the fire and finish the carbonizing work.
Fifth step: cooling process
Let the charcoal cool naturally or use the cooling system. It will take 8-16 hours in this process. People can take the charcoal out when the charcoal cools down to 40°C.
